Personal Description
Hello, my name is Kari. I am a mom of two children. My oldest is 3 years old and my youngest is 6 months old. They both are boys. I have worked with children of all ages. Children ages 0 months-13 years old. I love working with kids. I like making kids happy. I have been babysitting since I was 9 years old. I do know CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver. I was certified in High School. I do not know if that expires. I will be attending a class for CPR on infants. I will then find out if I am still certified and if I am not will again take the class to be certified in all areas of CPR. Infants, Children and Adults. I am an outgoing person who loves to take h er kids on walks, to the park or just play with them outside. If we have to stay inside because of weather conditions, I make the most of it. I am a craft and art person. So we would find something to keep us or the children busy. I love playing games with the kids so that would be another activity to keep them busy. I do cook. I make most of my foods from scratch. I am kind of a health freak with a junky side to me. I, as well as my son, love fresh fruits and vegetables. So needless to say we have fresh fruits and vegetables on hand all the time. I prefer to work from my house. Only because I do babysit other children. I do not charge by the hour. I charge by day. For children who need diaper changes throughout the day and will need food I charge $30 per day per child. For children who do not need diaper changes throughout the day and will need food I charge $25 per day per child. For any child that does not need food, but needs diaper changes I charge $25 p er day per child. For any child that does not need food and does not need diaper changes, I charge $20 per day per child. I do have two dogs. They are sweet dogs. One is skittish around new people, but has never acted upon it. The dogs will always be away from the kids. Either outside in the back yard or if weather does not permit them to be outside, then they will be locked in a room away from the kids. I am easy-going but can be firm when necessary. I do not let other kids get away with things I do not let my own children get away with.
