I am a 32 year old mother of one boy who is nine. I have been providing child care for several years. Since I was a teenager, I have always enjoyed working with children. I am compassionate, patient and nurturing. I have taken child psychology courses in my college studies, which I thoroughly enjoyed and learned much from. I believe that caring for and raising children requires so much more than simply providing for their basic needs. In my opinion, helping a child realize their full potential, building their self-confidence and their sense of self worth are just as vital as food and water are. A sense of safety, stability and well-being are also just as important. I strive to provide my son and the children with whom I am entrusted with a fun-loving, yet challenging environment in which their imaginations are nurtured while teaching them essential morals and values.
